            Cooper Construction Company has recently completed phase one of Jefferson Metropolitan Distribution Center in Jefferson Metropolitan Industrial Park in McCalla, according to Jim Cooper, President.

            The 300,000-square-foot building is a concrete tilt-wall with a conventional steel frame.

            Cooper is also providing 120,000-square-feet build-out services for Decoma, a bumper supplier for Mercedes International.

Paul Vardaman was project manager for Cooper and Larry Brasher was superintendent. Sonny Culp was leasing agent for Graham and Company, developers of the project.  Architectural services were provided by Designform, Inc.

            Cooper Construction is a southeastern construction firm established by Jim Cooper in 1991. The company specializes in construction of warehousing, distribution facilities, industrial plants, automotive dealerships, general construction and tenant improvements.                                     Jeff metro
